The LR Baggs EAS-VTC-N Element Active Classical Pickup System is engineered to deliver a natural, dynamic amplified sound for nylon-string guitars. Unlike traditional undersaddle pickups that rely on string compression, the Element system captures the guitar's actual voice by tracking the movement of the soundboard. This approach minimizes the "quack" often associated with piezo pickups, resulting in a more authentic tonal representation.

Designed specifically for classical guitars, the EAS-VTC-N includes a flexible film sensor, only two thousandths of an inch thick, that picks up the guitar's most delicate nuances. The system features an all-discrete endpin preamp with a built-in low-frequency compressor to tame low-end thump and mimic the dynamic response of the guitar. Additionally, it offers soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls for convenient adjustments during performances.
