This model has a hand-carved solid Spruce top, solid flamed Maple back & sides, Ebony fretboard and compensated bridge, with a beautiful woody, vintage tone. This model has higher-quality timbers that the MD515, and this particular instrument has a fantastic Gibson-style vintage sunburst.The vintage-correct Nitrocellulose finish fits perfectly with the traditional, woody tone of this beautiful instrument. Complete with a passive Fishman pickup and hardshell Eastman case.
