Celebrating three decades of one of the most iconic artist collaborations in acoustic guitar history, the Martin 000-EC 30th Anniversary is a fitting tribute to Eric Clapton’s enduring relationship with Martin. Built around a classic 000-14 fret body, this limited-edition model delivers the warm, articulate response that has defined Clapton’s acoustic sound for generations. A solid spruce top paired with solid East Indian rosewood back and sides produces a beautifully balanced voice, with crisp note separation, rich overtones, and a controlled low end that excels at fingerstyle and blues phrasing.

Central to the feel of this guitar is the Authentic 1939 neck shape, crafted from genuine mahogany and designed to replicate the vintage profile Eric Clapton has long favored. The shorter 24.9" scale enhances comfort and elasticity, while traditional appointments like fine herringbone trim, antique white binding, and a faux tortoise pickguard complete the timeless aesthetic. Finished with meticulous attention to detail and supplied in a premium embroidered hardshell case, the 000-EC 30th Anniversary is both a player’s instrument and a meaningful collector’s piece, available exclusively until March 2026.

This wonderful instrument is in superb condition, aside from one very minor repaired hairline crack on the back of the guitar, on the upper bout. It's been professionally repaired by Daniel Hoban, and is structurally sound and solid. The action is low and slick, and the sound is gorgeous - lively and responsive, with rich harmonics and a sweeping, cinematic tone. These Anniversary models have a more player-friendly neck than the standard Clapton Signature Martin, and this one plays like butter. One of our favourite Martin releases of the past decade!
